In recent times, several times met with badgers from Bialowieza Forest. One of the families of badgers has this year three young. Badgers near its burrow spend time among for fun, caring for purity. They eat mostly earthworms.
This species is warrantable, so hunters “acquire” in Poland more than 3,700 badgers per year (data for 2009).
